- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 medium apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.
- Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in sour cream until dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Mix apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar and spread over the dough.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the filling.
- Brush with egg wash and bake for 30-35 minutes.
