- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the chilled butter to the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
