- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and broken lasagna noodles. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in ricotta and mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy.
