- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1 cup walnuts (optional)
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

- While the blondies are baking, prepare the frosting by beating together the cream cheese, maple syrup, and powdered sugar until smooth.
