Creamy Corn Chowder

A delicious and creamy corn chowder featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups corn kernels
  • 1 cup diced turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened.
  2. Add turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until browned.
  3. Stir in potatoes and corn, then add chicken broth.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Notes

  • This chowder can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
  • For extra thickness, blend a portion of the soup and stir it back in.
