  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  6. Stir in the flour until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon over the batter, then pour the remaining batter on top.
  9. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon into the batter.
  10. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
