Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in baking soda and salt.
  5. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  6. Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
  7. For the cinnamon swirl, mix additional sugar and cinnamon together.
  8. Pour half the batter into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle with cinnamon mixture, then add remaining batter.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • For added moisture, you can substitute some of the sugar for brown sugar.
  • Adding nuts or chocolate chips can enhance flavor and texture.
