Cheesy Biscuits & Gravy Hashbrown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hashbrowns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can biscuits
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage until browned, then set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, make the gravy by whisking together flour and milk over medium heat until thickened. Add seasonings.
  4. Layer the hashbrowns in a casserole dish, followed by the cooked sausage, and pour the gravy over the top.
  5. Top with biscuit pieces and cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some green onions as a topping before serving.
