  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup apricot jam
  • 1 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour and salt.
  5. Shape dough into balls and place them on baking sheets.
  6. Make an indentation in the center of each ball and fill with apricot jam.
  7. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool before serving.

Notes
