  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until smooth.
  4. Add eggs, apple cider, and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  7. Let cool and then fill with caramel sauce between two cookies.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding chopped apples to the filling.
